I'm Karen Ann Boise, the enthusiastic founder of Compelling Exploration LLC. As a certified coach, coach trainer, mentor, writer, and artist, I wholeheartedly embrace the joy of working in unleashing their creative selves.
I proudly identify myself as a late bloomer! The first forty-two years of my life were a journey of survival and getting by. I faced major anxiety, battled low self-esteem, and had zero confidence. I limited myself, only venturing as far as necessary to fulfill responsibilities as a working parent. But everything changed when I found myself facing a challenging divorce and stepping into a new chapter of my life with newfound freedom. In that pivotal moment, I made a resolute decision to invest in myself and pursue an education that ignited my passion. Despite facing immense challenges, I proudly earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the age of 47. Throughout this incredible journey, I gracefully (haha) juggled the responsibilities of raising two remarkable sons, maintaining a full-time job, and attending school full-time. In retrospect, those years undeniably stand as the pinnacle of my life, filled with invaluable experiences and personal growth.
Just like a plant thrives when transplanted into a bigger pot, I grew exponentially. I began to believe in myself and fearlessly explored new avenues. I pushed past the boundaries of self-doubt and discovered fulfillment and satisfaction beyond my wildest imagination. I embarked on a purposeful and intentional life, and joy became my constant companion.
As destiny would have it, I stumbled upon coaching while pursuing my college education, and it was love at first sight. Coaching resonated with me on a deep level because it focuses on the future, challenges limiting beliefs, and unlocks a world of possibilities. Fast forward over a decade, and I've had the incredible privilege of coaching countless individuals who yearned for more in life. It's the most gratifying work I could ever imagine, witnessing individuals bloom into their authentic selves.
Using my proprietary H.O.P.E Coaching Model, I guide individuals ready to embrace their desired lives. H.O.P.E stands for Honest, Open, Possibilities Exploration, which serves as the foundation for the transformative work we embark on together.
